Job Title: Pre –School Teacher
Description:
Instruct students in activities to promote social, physical &
intellectual growth. Plan monthly and weekly units of study for
advanced Pre-K and Kindergarten children, ages 4 ˝ to 6 years.
Plan jobs and activities related to these units. Provide and set
up materials for jobs and activities. Present individual and
group lessons to students. Keep record of students’ progress.
Provide for general welfare and safety of all children. Inform
parents of what skills their child is learning. Give parents
ideas on how they might help their child’s progress. Provide
parents with information regarding monthly calendar of events –
snack days and units of study, any accidents or injuries to
their child and behavioral problems when necessary. Keep
classroom attractive, neat and clean. Clean up and put away
materials when needed. Work with administration and other staff
to develop and coordinate the educational programs of the
school.
Requirement: 2 years experience may substitute BS Degree in
elementary education.
Hours per week: Full Time
